Make identification map
1. Pay attention to the situation of the identification map in the real environment
1.1 Printing quality
In practice, the printing pattern and the design manuscript caused by factors such as the quality and specifications of the printing equipment are far from each other. We should try our best to avoid it. Generally, there are the following situations:
Printing color difference;
Printed and cropped images;
Printing deforms the image;
Reflective printed paper;
1.2 Identification map placement
In practice, our identification map may be placed on real objects or large multimedia screens by various means. We need to deal with the actual situation, such as:
1.2.1 The identification map is placed on a large multimedia interactive screen. We can consider that the following situations may make the identification map on the large screen difficult to identify, and we should try our best to avoid it.
The scene environment is too bright, resulting in unclear images on the large screen;
The image display quality on the large screen is not sufficient, resulting in unclear images on the large screen;
The large screen image shows reflections;
1.2.2 The identification map is inserted by unconventional means, such as: identification patterns sewn on clothes, identification patterns printed on clothes by printing machines, identification patterns formed by inkjet printing, and many plastic products made by thermal transfer technology . specific:
Recognition patterns sewn on clothes, and recognition patterns printed on clothes by a printing machine: you should consider printing the pattern on a flat place (such as the back), and you can also try to make a recognition map by shooting;
Recognition pattern formed by inkjet: First, it is inkjet onto a flat surface, and the pattern formed by inkjet should be as consistent as possible with the design manuscript (ie, the recognition image uploaded to our platform);
Thermal transfer process of plastic products: such as the pattern printed on a white refrigerator, then we can consider using a white background for the identification map we make, so as to keep the entire identification pattern on the refrigerator and the identification uploaded to our platform as much as possible The image is consistent;
In short, we need to try to keep the recognition patterns in the real environment consistent with the identification map uploaded to the platform.
In addition, we can also make identification maps by shooting, which can also avoid some special situations. But we should also pay attention to simulate a good environment as much as possible when shooting. For details, please refer to the following process:
Set up a good lighting environment for shooting, which can make the shooting pattern more clear and natural;
Keep the photographed pattern flat;
Keep the picture being photographed and place it under the shooting equipment directly opposite;
Fine-tune the captured picture, try to make the captured pattern occupy most of the center of the entire identification map;
2. Pay attention to the user AR experience environment and guide users to Humanized experience AR
2.1 Identification map adjustment due to user AR experience environment
If the user experiences AR with brighter ambient light, the identification map can be slightly darker, and vice versa;
The user experience AR is mainly through scanning electronic large screens, huge posters, huge billboards, car advertisements, etc. In this case, the user may not be able to clearly display the partial details of the identification map in the camera screen at a longer distance. At this time, the identification map can be more atmospheric, used to highlight the lines and patterns in the image;
Sometimes the background wall made of the identification map is partially blocked by people or other objects, then we can consider cutting the identification map and keep the unobstructed part, and then upload the platform, or at the beginning of the design identification map will be easily. The blocked part is simpler, so that the recognition center of the recognition map can be placed in other positions.
2.2 User-friendly guide user experience AR
Before users experience AR, remind users to place them in a suitable light environment to avoid dim and too bright light environments;
Before users experience AR, remind users to scan the identification map to avoid standing in a reflective position;
Remind users that they are facing the scan identification map before they experience AR;
When users experience AR, remind users to try to scan the identification map from multiple angles;
When users experience AR, remind users to try to approach or move away from the identification map before re-scanning (in principle, try to keep the recognition image just placed on the phone screen, don’t scan only part of the recognition image or too far from the recognition image).
